Among the various consulting services offered by EtaCarinae is support for the drafting of life cycle analyses (<\/span>Life Cycle Assessment or LCA<\/b>) and carbon footprint calculation (<\/span>Carbon Footprint or CF<\/b>) of products and companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> Carbon Footprint<\/b> consists of producing an inventory of greenhouse gases and quantifying their volume emitted during the life cycle of a product and\/or service or organization. This analysis is necessary in case one wants to know the contribution to climate change of a specific product or a particular production process or project. It is also possible to conduct organization CF, to have a realistic quantification of your company’s greenhouse gas emissions. Once calculated, the CF allows one to proceed with process improvement actions to reduce the amount of actual emissions from one’s company or production process. It is also possible to undertake a process of offsetting these emissions through GHG offsetting by purchasing carbon credits on the voluntary market. <\/span><\/p>\n
